Free general admission to USS Constitution is included with your Go Card.

The world's oldest commissioned ship, the USS Constitution, was built in 1794-1797 in a Boston Shipyard.   Never having lost a battle she was nicknamed "Old Ironsides" during the War of 1812.   Today the USS Constitution resides at the Charleston Navy Yard in Boston.

Through the use of videos and self-guided 'hands-on' tours, the visitor to can 'experience' what daily life and battle and was like aboard the USS Constitution.  The Discovery Port program provides active role-playing for students playing the part of a sailor keeping time with an hour-glass, swinging in a hammock and setting a meal of hard tack (mess).   The museum is adjacent to the ship, in Building 22 of the Boston National Historical Park in the Charlestown Navy Yard.
