The Nichols House Museum offers a unique glimpse into 19th and early 20th century Bostonian life in the historic section of Beacon Hill. Furnished with priceless possessions gathered from every corner of the globe, the museum includes Flemish tapestries, oriental rugs, European and Asian art, and works by America’s foremost sculptor of the 19th century, Augustus Saint Gaudens.

Hours: May 1–October 31: Tuesday–Saturday, noon–4:00 pm. November 1–April 30: Thursday–Saturday, noon–4:00 pm. Tours every half hour.  Closed: January, New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.  All holidays are subject to change without notice.

Take the T: Red or Green Lines to Park Street stop. Walk toward the gold State House dome (either on Park Street or through the Common), turn left onto Beacon, then right on Walnut to Mount Vernon Street.
