During your visit to Boston, you’ll no doubt learn about Samuel Adams, and the role he played in the American Revolution. Of course, you should also know he was a brewer, and his namesake brewery put American craft brewing on the map in the 1980s. Experience the entire brewing process, from start to finish. Taste the special malts used to brew Samuel Adams and smell the Hallertau and Tettnang hops.

Note: Tour is open to visitors of all ages.  Proper ID required in order to sample beer.

Hours: Tours Thursday at 2:00 pm, Friday at 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm, and Saturday at noon, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm.  May 1–August 31: additional tour on Wednesdays at 2:00 pm.  Closed: May be closed major U.S. holidays.

Take the T: Orange Line to Stoney Brook stop. Above ground, turn left onto Boylston Street and go straight. At the first set of lights, turn right onto Amory Street. Take the first left onto Porter Street and look for the “Samuel Adams” signs.
