Visit the living history museum of the17th-century Plymouth Colony where role-players transport guests back in time to 1627. Outdoor sites at "Plimoth" Plantation include the Pilgrim Village,  the Wampanoag Homesite where the history of the indigenous people of the area is presented; the Craft Center, where 17th century crafts are reproduced; and the Nye Barn where rare breeds of farm animals used by the British Colonists can be seen. Moored near Plymouth Rock is The Mayflower II, full-scale reproduction of the type of ship that brought the first Colonists to Plymouth.  Costumed interpreters and museum guides tell the story of the 1620 voyage and the history of the reproduction built in 1956.

The Visitor Center offers an indoor exhibit, three museum shops, and café dining.

Hours: March 27–November 26: Daily, 9:00 am–5:00 pm.  Closed: November 27–March 26. May be closed major U.S holidays.

Directions: I-93 S to Route 3 S. Take left exit 4 (Plimoth Plantation Highway) and follow signs to Plimoth Plantation.
