Liberty RideLiberty Ride Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) The Liberty Ride provides one of the best ways to experience the past. Tour buses take you to a number of famous sites of early American and Revolutionary War times. Your tour will take you to such famous spots as Lexington Battle Green and the Old North Bridge where the militia faced off against British Regulars. Visit sites central to the start of the American Revolution, including Minuteman National Historical Park where you can walk the Battle Trail, and the National Heritage Museum celebrating American history and culture, as well as the homes of Concord’s greatest authors. You have the freedom to hop off and on any bus whenever you want. If you want to do a little shopping or have lunch in Lexington or Concord, you can do that and re-join the tour whenever you’re ready. Hours: May 27–October 15: Regular departures from 10:30 am–4:30 pm. April 15: 10:30 am–4:30 pm. April 16: 12:00 pm–4:30 pm. Closed: May be closed major U.S. holidays. Take the T: Red Line to Alewife Station and board either bus 76 or 62 to Lexington Center. No service on Sundays and holidays. All buses on Route 62 are equipped with wheelchair lifts Directions: Take the Mass Pike west from Boston to Route 95/128 North and take Exit 30A onto Route 2A East (also known as Marrett Road). The Museum is approximately 3 miles from the exit on the left, marked by a brick wall, large iron gates, and a row of colorful banners.
