While visiting Cape Cod, you'll want to visit the area's largest attraction, the Heritage Museums & Gardens.   Located on 100 acres of award-winning gardens with spectacular blooms, you'd be surprised to find even the winter the views are spectacular.  Also featured are the J. K. Lilly III Automobile Collection, antique bicycles,  filling station memorabilia, the Cape Cod Baseball League Exhibit and Hall of Fame and the Military Miniature Collection. The Art Museum is home to an antique 1906–1912 working Loof carousel and folk art that celebrates the American spirit. The Hart Family Maze Garden opens in June and a labyrinth is also located on the grounds along with museum stores, a seasonal café, and the Old East Windmill.

Hours: January–March, Open by appointment or program reservation; April 1–October 31: Daily, 10:00 am–6:00 pm.   November 1–January 1: Daily, 10:00 am–4:00 pm.

Spectacle of Lights 2006: November 25, 2006–January 1, 2007: 4:30 pm–8:30 pm.

Directions: From Rte. 3 South take the Sagamore Bridge to Exit 2, Rte. 130 turn left on Pine Street and follow to the main gate. From Rte. 6 the mid-Cape Highway take Exit 2 to Rte. 130 north into Sandwich Village turn left onto Grove Street and follow to main gate. From Rte. 25 to Rte. 24 to the Bourne Bridge go around the rotary and take Rte. 6A to Rte. 130 to Pine Street and the main gate.
