Free general admission to The Old North Church is included with your Go Card.

It was from the steeple of the Old North Church that two laterns were held thus igniting the War for Independence and leading to the birth of a new nation.  Built in 1723, the Old North Church is a beautiful building and a still active Episcopal church.

Throughout the year the church has a special Paul Revere Tonight presentation.  Contact the church for a schedule and ticket information.

Hours: July–October: Daily, 9:00 am–6:00 pm.  November–June: Daily, 9:00 am–5:00 pm.  Closed: Sunday mornings for church services, although the public is welcome to attend.  Please call or check web site to confirm hours. May be closed major U.S. holidays.

For directions to the Old North Church via Public Transportation:

Take the Orange or Green line (MBTA) to the Haymarket stop. To go directly to the Old North Church walk under I93 (the expressway) to Cross Street. The Freedom Trail (red line on the sidewalk) intersects Cross Street at Salem Street. Walk down Salem Street to Hull Street (almost to the end). Hull Street forms the leg of a T with Salem Street. The Old North Church faces squarely down Hull Street. A scenic approach can be taken by starting at the Park Street beginnings of the Freedom Trail and following the Trail through the Faneuil Hall area into the North End of Boston.
